Geri is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Bocconi Institute for Data Science and Analytics, in the Machine Learning and Statistical Physics group. His current research lies at the intersection of AI and Geometry, aiming to understand the representation learning capabilities of modern Neural Networks, in particular of Graph Neural Networks. He did his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Verona under the supervision of Prof. Marco Cristani, and he was a J1 visiting scholar at the DSE Lab of Michigan State University, headed by Prof. Jiliang Tang.
