Jacob is a master’s student at the University of Oxford, supervised by Michael Bronstein. He is interested in exploiting relationships between geometry and dynamics toward more principled machine learning algorithms, with a current focus in particular on stochastic extensions to the geometric deep learning canon and their applications to generative models. He studied at Cambridge prior to this, during which time he worked with Pietro Liò on aspects of higher-order graph learning and with Laura Balzano on temporal network science.
