Giovanni Luca Marchetti is a PostDoc at the department of mathematics of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm. He completed his PhD in deep learning at KTH, and his BSc and MSc in pure mathematics at La Sapienza University, Rome. He is interested in the interplay between tools from pure mathematics and machine learning, such as algebro-geometric aspects of deep neural networks, manifold/representation learning, geometric density estimation, and topological data analysis.
